For example, you've probably heard that you need a 4WD to get to many of the beaches and therefore want to rent a 4WD vehicle. Although it's true that you do need a 4WD for some of the beaches renting a vehicle may not be the answer since your rental contract will state that you are not to take their vehicle off road. Taking your rental vehicle off road even if it is a 4WD will void any insurance coverage you have. There are many other beautiful beaches and parks that you can visit with a standard size car. By doing this you will save money on your car rental and not have to worry about breaking the rental contract.
